ok…first a disclaimer: if any of you out there are salespeople of any kind, this is NOT a serious post and is NOT directed towards you. its just…….hmm…….grr……..a problem i have with being sold something. aight…with that out of the way…….I HATE SALESPEOPLE!!!
lemme, lemme explain.
for some reason i just hate being sold something. EVEN if that something is bound to improve my already need-improveable life…i will still forever hate being told that “oh this is good” or “you should buy this” or “its cheap!”. grr…i hate that. why?
maybe it’s because i just think all sales people are liars. and with the advent of the internet…sales people should be banned, no? i mean it’s so bad that i’m pretty much willing to pay full price for stuff, just so i don’t have to hear a sales guy talk to me.
maybe i’m just anti-social…..blah
or maybe it’s because i just always think there’s a catch….which is why i never sign up for them online deal-things, when i really should.
OR maybe…just maybe..it’s because i’ve seen too many people get gipped by sales people….mostly the TECHY sales guy at best buy or your local cell phone provider. i hate those guys the most. half of the time they take advantage of the clueless. how do i know this? cause whenever someone tells me about something techy they bought and it doesn’t work up to their expectations…guess who gets the call?
and it’s a shame.
while these sales people should be trying to help their customers learn more about that computer they bought, or that hard drive they purchased, or that whosywhatsit they got, they’re more concerned about the money they’ll be taking in. and you can’t really blame them for that, actually. sigh. i guess consumers should just be more aware right?
blah….
and for the record……i used to be a sales person. *cough*worked in the sears JUNIORS department in high school for a semester *cough*
