aight here we go. if you’ve been watching the National Geographic Channel recently, you’d know about this whole CHASING UFOs thingy. well…long story short…just watch this:
and so….here is my response: (that is if you’re following me on twitter and you saw this)
hey aliens! whats up?! what were ya’ll thinking when you guys decided to send us the WOW! Signal? maybe it was a distressed signal. was Star Wars happening? was it a last ditch effort to try and save your home planet from the evil of the dark side?
well…if you get this reply just know that we, the human race, are a peaceful people……for the most part. oh sure, i’m sure you guys have been through some crazy wars (i hear the Clone Wars was crazy), but every now and then, we like to come together and at least PRETEND we’re all civil. have ya heard of the olympics? i’m sure ya’ll have the same thing. well….we got something like that coming up this summer!
oh..and there’s this country called the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. that’s where i’m from. we’re the SUPER POWER OF THE WORLD. so be careful if you guys decided to come here and take us over. we got nuclear weapons! which are obviously the most powerful weapons in the world!
but i’m sure you’ll be here for peaceful reasons. don’t be like those Aliens that try to eat us…like in the Twilight Zone.
and don’t be afraid of us….oh sure….if you guys decide to come on over, we’ll look at you with a suspicious eye..and sure, some of us will probably try to destroy you….but for the most part, i’ll at least be curiously friendly (until you try to control my mind using your super powers).
hmm…..anyhoo…i’ll probably be dead by the time ya’ll get this message…but at least know this….the year is 2012, the year of our lord (hmm…i didn’t make that up). and barack obama is our president (for now). oh…and right now we’re going through and “economic crisis”. by time you get this, the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA may not even exist anymore. so….just know that during my time, we all still knew how to have fun.
